As part of our exteme and luxury adventures - the Artctic is hard to better. Whether you are looking to test yourself and your ability to survive in polar conditions, are looking for a pioneering expedition or would like to be one of the few people to reach the North Pole, Pioneer have teamed up with some polar specialists to offer you an adventure of a lifetime.
These trips tend to have one group departure but can also be tailored as a private trip.
A trip of a lifetime that will be etched in your memories in years to come. We’ll use snowmobiles to access the interior of the island, take you across frozen fjords, through steep sided gorges, glaciers and vast mountain ranges. A great way to experience Svalbard
Tailormade/ Private Departures - March - April (supplement may apply)
Pioneering expedition offering a north to south skiing traverse of Liverpool Land - a little explored peninsular on the east coast of Greenland. Situated at a latitude of 71 degrees north it is well inside the Arctic Circle. Over 18 days we shall trek approximately 75 miles and experience the Arctic in all its raw natural beauty.
Group Departures -
Be one of the few people to visit the North Pole. We fly from Longyearbyen to Ice Station Barneo (a temporary camp set up annually in April). From there we can take a helicopter to the North Pole. This can be done as a 1,2 or 4 day trip and can be combined with ski-ing to, diving under or skydiving on the North Pole
